Teneille Govender

Teneille Govender is an employment and labour lawyer, based in the firm’s Johannesburg Offices.
She obtained her LLB and LLM (Mercantile Law) from the University of Pretoria, followed by briefly lecturing as part of the faculty. Teneille has also obtained a post graduate diploma in labour law from UNISA, with distinction.
Teneille has experience in various areas of labour litigation at the CCMA, the various Bargaining Councils, and the Labour Court. She advises clients on issues relating to both collective and individual labour law, including unfair dismissals, retrenchments, unfair discrimination, strikes and the like. Prior to joining the firm, she ran her own practice which also specialized in labour law.
