Ruth Cowley is a dispute resolution lawyer based in London. She is experienced in commercial and banking litigation, international arbitration matters and regulatory investigations, many with international elements, for our global clients.
Ruth is a core member of our global business ethics and anti-corruption team and our arbitration group. Recently Ruth's experience includes SFC investigations, Stock Exchange enquiries, advice on corruption issues and investigations, shareholder disputes in various Asia jurisdictions and cross border litigation. She also advises on employment issues in Hong Kong.
Ruth spent nearly two years in our Singapore office primarily focusing on international arbitration in the South East Asia region, before moving to Hong Kong in September 2007.
Ruth read law at Cambridge University and joined us in 2000. She is qualified in England and Wales as a Solicitor-Advocate holding Higher Rights (All Proceedings), and is also qualified in Hong Kong.
