Georg is a director in the corporate department of the Johannesburg office.
Georg has extensive experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, commercial property transactions and regulatory matters (mining, securities regulation and pharmaceutical law). He also has a broad range of general commercial law experience.
Some of the companies that Georg has advised in M&A transactions include: Exxaro Limited, Rio Tinto plc, Coal of Africa Limited, Alcatel-Lucent, Marsh & McLennan, Ericsson, the South African Breweries Limited, Mvelaphanda Resources Limited and Metorex Limited.
Georg holds the degrees of BA (UCT) LLB (UCT), HDip Company Law (I & II) (WITS) and Mining Law Certificate (WITS).
