We have been committed to Turkey for a number of years. Our practice brings together a cross departmental team which includes corporate, banking, (offshore) tax, competition and dispute resolution expertise.

Our Turkey specialists across our network of offices have substantial cross-border experience involving complex business and financial transactions in all the major industries.

We are particularly active in relation to Islamic Finance and Energy deals.

We have achieved a number of awards recently, including "Best Legal Advisory Firm" at the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2011. The "Most Innovative Deal" award also went to the Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası Sukuk, on which we acted for Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası in relation to the first Sukuk originating from Turkey and the first Sukuk by a bank in Europe.

We also won awards for the "Best Law Firm in Islamic Finance", "Deal of the Year", "Sukuk Deal of the Year", "European Deal of the Year", and "Turkish Deal of the Year" at the annual Islamic Finance News Awards 2010.
