Piotr Strawa is a banking and corporate lawyer and the Head of our Warsaw practice. He has worked on international transactions since the Polish market opened up in the late 1980s.
Piotr’s practice encompasses privatisations, restructurings, M&A, private equity and joint ventures. He has acted for government agencies, financial institutions, multinational and domestic companies on transactions in a variety of sectors. He has particular expertise in the insurance and automotive industries.
Piotr is a member of the Polish Bar of Advocates and the Bar of Legal Advisers. He is co-author of the section
Poland in a three volume publication by KLUWER on acquisitions and mergers in over 50 countries. According to
Legal 500 EMEA 2011 Piotr Strawa is a ‘
brilliant corporate finance lawyer’.
