Hong Sun is a corporate finance lawyer based in Shanghai. She specialises in finance, covering foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate transactions involving PRC assets or entities.
Hong Sun qualified in the PRC in 1999 and was admitted to the All China Lawyers Association in 2001. From 1997 to 2001 she worked in the Legislative Affairs Office of Dalian Municipal Government. In 2003 and 2004, she received training in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong under the Lord Chancellor's training scheme.
Before joining the Shanghai office in June 2006, she was a partner in one of the leading law firms in Dalian, where she specialised
in corporate finance and dispute resolution.
