Andrew Lewis is a corporate finance lawyer based in Dubai. He specialises in private equity and venture capital work and has played a leading role in the growth of the New Zealand private equity and venture capital industry.
Andrew has broad transaction focused experience, having acted on a range of acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, capital raisings, corporate structuring matters and supply and distribution arrangements. He has represented the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (established to stimulate the venture capital and early stage investment markets in New Zealand) from its creation and has acted on the establishment of many of the funds currently active in the New Zealand market, as well investments by those funds.
Andrew has also been a long standing board member of the New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and has developed templates for investment transactions which have been widely adopted by the New Zealand market as representing best practice.
