Ned Steinman practises commercial transaction law with an emphasis on acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of real estate. He has a focus on commercial leasing, acting for landlords and tenants in office, industrial and retail leasing. He has extensive experience in the real estate industry and assists in various projects, corporate transactions, financings, acquisitions and sales that include significant leasing aspects. Mr. Steinman is a frequent lecturer on commercial leasing topics.

Mr. Steinman also advises on acquisitions, dispositions and financing of mines, mining companies and significant mining projects and on a broad range of mining related matters with respect to easements, claims, permit requirements and related matters. He advises on mineral title review, exploration, development, production, reclamation and mine closure and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining our Ottawa office, Mr. Steinman practised for nine years and was a partner at another law firm in Ottawa.
