Gabriel Granatstein practises in all areas of employment and labour law. He manages files and assists his clients and colleagues in the analysis of a wide range of legal issues, including the interpretation and application of collective agreements and contracts of employment, occupational health and safety and grievance arbitration. Mr. Granatstein has worked with lawyers from other offices of the firm to draft and revise employee policies and employee handbooks for large corporations in order to ensure their pan-Canadian applicability. He has also assisted large US corporations in adapting hiring policies and handbooks to conform to relevant Quebec legislation.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as an officer in the Canadian Forces, where his duties included assisting in grievance processing, conducting administrative and disciplinary investigations and a period of deployment as a peacekeeper in Bosnia. He continues to serve as a reservist.
