Chris Pearson is a corporate lawyer based in London. He is highly experienced in public company and stock exchange transactions.

Chris's experience includes public company takeovers, other mergers and acquisitions (domestic and cross-border), flotations, joint ventures, securities offerings, company reconstructions and institutional investments. He led the team on the £7.8bn Carlsberg-Heineken consortium bid for Scottish and Newcastle in 2008, and advised Monsoon on its £77m acquisition by Dillgreat.

Chambers and Partners Europe 2009 describes him as having "excellent negotiating skills in the deal room".

Chris is a member of the City of London Solicitors’ Company and represents the practice on the City of London Law Society Company Law Sub-Committee. He is a contributor to A Practitioner’s Guide to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (City & Financial Publishing, 1998).
