Global Head of Banking
Jeremy Edwards is a banking lawyer based in our London office and is praised as “one of the best asset finance lawyers there is.” He is Global Head of Banking, and is listed as a Senior Statesman in the fields of asset finance: aviation finance in the 2012 edition of Chambers UK and asset finance in the 2012 edition of Chambers Global.
Jeremy's principal area of practice is structured and asset finance, particularly of aircraft and rolling stock. His expertise includes all aspects of operating and finance leases, sales and purchases of aircraft and rolling stock, cross-border leases and export credit financing.
Jeremy started his career with us as a trainee in 1987. He spent three years at the Paris office from 1992-1995, becoming a Partner in 1997. He headed the Aviation Business Group for more than five years before taking on his current role as Global Head of Banking in May 2009.
