Milana Chamberlain
Head of Prague
Milana is a corporate finance lawyer and Head of Prague. She specialises in cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures in Central and Eastern European markets, energy, procurement and PPP projects.
Milana advises on a variety of domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, mainly in the manufacturing, banking and transport sectors. As a qualified English lawyer with more than 10 years of working experience in the Czech Republic, Milana’s understanding of English law concepts and their transposition into Czech law documentation is rare on the Czech market.
Milana is a regular speaker both at domestic and international events and has delivered papers at the European Banking and Financial Fora as well as at Pan-European PPP Fora in Prague. She is a member of the Czech Competition Authority (ÚHOS) expert working group on issues related to the health sector.
Milana graduated from the Prague School of Economics before training as a lawyer in the UK. She is fluent in English, Czech and has a working knowledge of Russian. She is a member of the Law Society in England and Wales and is registered as a European Advocate at the Czech Bar Association.
