Fadi C. Khoury is a financial and investment services lawyer based in Sydney.

Fadi has extensive experience advising local and offshore firms on the establishment and offering of investment funds and products, particularly real estate, private equity, hedge funds, managed funds, MITs and structured products.

He is a trusted advisor to some of Australia’s leading asset managers, superannuation funds and financial services firms.

Fadi also advises in relation to corporate, foreign investment and regulatory matters. He has assisted with the establishment and restructure of numerous financial services firms, including in Australian financial services licensing and implementing compliance and governance arrangements.

Fadi holds a Bachelor of Economics and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, together with financial services industry qualifications in securities, MIS and derivatives (RG 146).

He is the author of various legal texts and editor of the leading Financial Services commentary, and lectures in securities law, real estate funding and financial services (Master of Applied Finance).

He was once nominated by Australian Lawyers Weekly as ‘Young Gun of the Year’ and was rated in 2012 as a leading lawyer in the Investment Funds sectors by Chambers and Partners: “[Fadi] advises on a wide range of investment scheme related issues and is particularly trusted by clients for unit trust structuring, dealing with regulators, and licence structuring and amendments.
