He has acted on numerous high-profile transactions, including limited recourse and non-recourse financing, syndicated financing, infrastructure financing, resource financing, construction financing, equipment financing, leveraged management buy-out financing and takeover financing.

Nino was the lead partner acting for the Bank of China in three syndicated loan deals to Telstra for the equivalent amount of AU$1.5 billion. He also acted for the Bank of China in the historic AU$1.5 billion resources acquisition by China Minmetals of Oz Minerals. Nino also acted for Bank of China on the funding of another of the landmark takeovers in Australia of 2009 of the coal miner Felix Resources Ltd by one of China's major coal miners Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Ltd. The transaction value was approximately A$3.5 billion
