Sir David Lewis is a consultant, based in London.
Formerly Chairman and Senior Partner, David specialised in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance during his time with the practice. He has advised on numerous major public company takeovers and over 100 new listings. He is listed as a leading corporate finance lawyer in Legal 500, Chambers and international M&A directories.
David was Managing Partner of our Hong Kong office between 1979 and 1982, head of our corporate finance practice and Chairman and Senior Partner between 1997 and 2003. He was Lord Mayor of the City of London in 2007-2008 and, as such, was the UK's ambassador for financial services. He was knighted on 1 January 2009 for services to the legal profession and to the City of London.
