Litigation and dispute resolution

The Netherlands’ team is led by Yke Lennartz who is recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers Global legal directories as having represented large clients in commercial, banking and energy disputes both internationally and domestically.

The team's strength lies in the diversity and depth of resource which, combined with specialist skills in litigation and arbitration, enables the team to deal with a full range of commercial disputes, both domestic and international, across a variety of disciplines: financial institutions, corporate finance, and energy. The team has a special focus on resolving post M&A disputes, (multi jurisdictional) shareholders disputes and energy disputes, on financial disputes and on business ethics and corruption.

We regularly represent clients in standard and appeal proceedings before Netherlands’ courts, in summary proceedings and arbitration proceedings, and regarding conservatory attachments, enforcement and judicial sale. Our broad client base includes a number of international contracting companies, natural resources and mineral companies, financial institutions and insurance companies.

Our international offices work together to provide seamless cross border litigation advice - we are experienced in handling quality, complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation. We aim to deliver effective solutions to meet the challenges faced in every market.
