Norton Rose wins National Training Award 2009

International legal practice Norton Rose Group has won an Award in the large employer category at the Greater London National Training Awards. The Learning and Development team was recognised for excellence in training relating to the “Effective Business Development, Marketing and Selling course” which the team have delivered since 2002.

The award recognises their work in devising and delivering a course that encourages senior lawyers to draft marketing implementation plans and improve their business development strategy. The National Training Awards judges' evaluation included visiting Norton Rose Group, assessing the course materials and interviewing some of the the lawyers who undertook the training. The award ceremony was held at The Banqueting House, Whitehall 8 October 2009.

Director of Learning and Organisational Development, Carolann Edwards commented:
