Norton Rose expands antitrust practice with new Of Counsel in Munich

International legal practice Norton Rose LLP has reinforced its German antitrust, competition and regulatory team with the hire of Dr. Matthias Nordmann (42) as Of Counsel in the Munich office.
Matthias Nordmann joined Norton Rose LLP on 17 September 2012. He will advance the development of Munich's antitrust, competition and regulatory practice. He will work closely with Michael Jürgen Werner and Christian Filippitsch, both Norton Rose LLP partners in Brussels.
Matthias was previously a senior associate at CMS Hasche Sigle in Brussels. He has wide-ranging expertise in antitrust law and EU state aid law, merger control and corporate compliance. His experience includes advising LBBW on state aid legal issues in connection with the takeover of SachsenLB, and advising on merger control proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office relating to the takeover of Herlitz by Pelikan.
