14 November 2011

And highly commended in Most Effective Reward Strategy category

International legal practice Norton Rose Group has been awarded the Global Mobility Team (under 250 assignees) award at the Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) ceremony, held at the Park Plaza Riverbank, London on 4 November 2011.

The award has been presented in recognition of innovations introduced by Norton Rose Group to provide employees with the opportunity to work more globally in its expanding international business. Initiatives include a Global Mobility Register and ‘integration assignments’ which enable employees to move throughout the Group and promote a shared culture internationally. The practice was also recognised for raising awareness internally of the international career opportunities within the Group.

Sara Coleman, International HR Manager, Norton Rose LLP, commented:

“In the last two years alone we’ve added three new regions to our footprint - Australia, Canada and South Africa. Global mobility has been an important factor in supporting our growth and so we’re delighted that our efforts to facilitate exchanges and assist integration throughout the group have been recognised with this award.”

Norton Rose Group was also highly commended in the Most Effective Reward Strategy category.
