Norton Rose advises ING Real Estate Investment Management
16 November 2009

International legal practice, Norton Rose LLP, has advised longstanding client ING Real Estate Investment Management on the sale of a Guernsey unit trust holding the prime central London property 88 Wood Street to Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP on behalf of South Korea’s largest pension fund, National Pension Service Central London Property Limited Partnership Fund.

The investment fund purchased the Richard Rogers designed landmark building for £183 million. This is one of the few major investment transactions in the current market and shows the interest being shown by international investors in quality office buildings in London.

The Norton Rose LLP team was led by Mark Lloyd Williams and Lindsay Morgan and assistance was provided by Andrew Savage, Hannah Pellard and Natalia Leszczewski (corporate finance), Charles Pinkerton (property), Chris Hill (construction), Dan Kennedy and Louise Cowley (banking) and John Challoner and Julia Lloyd (tax).
