Dr. Klaus von Gierke is a corporate lawyer based in Hamburg and Frankfurt and head of the Hamburg office. 

He has extensive experience in all aspects relating to mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments and general commercial and corporate issues.

His clients are from a range of industries including information, communications and technology, manufacturing, distribution and the public sector.

Klaus gained his doctorate in comparative law at the University of Freiburg and his LL.M. degree at Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans. He was called to the Hamburg Bar in 1984. Klaus is also a German qualified certified specialist for corporate and commercial law.

A native German speaker, Klaus is fluent in English and French.
