We opened our Shanghai office in 2006, a further sign of the strength and reach of our China practice group, now numbering more than 60 lawyers. Shanghai is a commercial and financial powerhouse in China, and a key industrial and shipping centre. Our presence there will benefit our clients in the Yangtse delta region.

Our team in Shanghai is led by partner Jim James, head of the PRC arbitration practice. Jim is a shipping specialist and an expert in commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. He has been based in Asia since 1983.
