Paul Vine is a banking lawyer (advocaat) based in Amsterdam. He has particular expertise in structured finance, corporate restructuring, banking regulation and insolvency.

Paul has advised on a variety of international and domestic banking transactions, including trade finance, acquisition finance, property finance as well as advising on regulatory capital issues, restructuring and cross-border insolvencies.

Paul joined the practice in 1994 and qualified in 1996. Apart from having spent some time in Moscow and Central America as general counsel of a private equity fund, and then with Shell International, Paul has spent his whole career with the practice. He is a regular speaker at conferences and has written widely on finance issues. Paul is also a contributor to the corporate reference work, Gore-Browne on Companies.
