Richard Metcalf is a projects lawyer based in London. He specialises in the field of energy-related projects, with particular reference to oil and gas exploration and development and power generation.
Richard has a practice which extends across the entire energy chain and embraces topical areas in the energy sector such as carbon capture and storage and private investment in new nuclear projects. Earlier in his career he worked for three years as head of legal at an oil major responsible for exploration and production activities in the UK North Sea.
