Sun Hong is a corporate lawyer based in Shanghai. She specialises in corporate law, covering foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate transactions involving PRC assets or entities. She is also very familiar with the PRC regulatory regime concerning financial institutions, financial services and cross-border banking transactions.
Sun Hong qualified in the PRC in 1999 and was admitted to the All China Lawyers Association in 2001. From 1997 to 2001 she worked in the Legislative Affairs Office of Dalian Municipal Government. In 2003 and 2004, she received training in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong under the Lord Chancellor's training scheme.
Before joining the Shanghai office in June 2006, Sun Hong was a partner in a PRC law firm and specialised in corporate finance and dispute resolution.
