Milton Osborn is a finance and corporate lawyer based in Beijing. He has broad experience advising financial institutions and sponsors, in relation to acquisition finance, cross-border finance, private equity, structured finance, debt capital markets, derivatives, hedge funds, high yield debt, and securitisation.

Milton’s main areas of expertise are in finance, derivatives, structured finance, leverage finance M&A and private equity related transactions and he has significant experience advising on cross-border financing, acquisitions and general banking, and in recent years his practice has focused on emerging markets, particularly in Africa. This continues to be a focus for him in Beijing where he acts for Chinese and China-based financial institutions investing into Africa.

Milton was admitted as an Attorney in South Africa in 1997 and as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2003. Before joining the practice, Milton worked for international law firms in London and in Singapore where he acted for and advised banks as well as sovereign, hedge and private equity funds on various capital market, structured finance, acquisitions and private equity related transactions. He has experience in the European, Asian and African markets.
