Global Competition Review - Hong Kong competition law inches closer

Asia competition team partner Marc Waha was quoted in Global Competition Review concerning the recent Hong Kong Government proposals on the Competition Bill. Commenting on the concessions offered by the Government to the opponents of the Bill, Marc says that they are "intelligent and clearly designed to address the main concerns of the business community – the lack of legal certainty and the broad delegation of powers to an authority whose members are appointed by the government – without however being a complete retreat on the principles".
