Norton Rose announces new financial services partner in Hong Kong

International legal practice Norton Rose Hong Kong announced today that Charlotte Robins is to join the Hong Kong office as a partner in the corporate team.  

Charlotte will join from Clifford Chance Hong Kong, where she is a Consultant.

With over 10 years’ experience based mainly in Asia, Charlotte’s practice is focussed on financial services regulatory and licensing matters across the Asian region, including advising hedge funds and private equity funds on their establishment and ongoing regulatory requirements, and investment banks on legal and compliance issues.

David Stannard, Head of Asia for Norton Rose Group, said:

Charlotte’s specialist experience in the financial services regulatory area will be especially valuable in strengthening our corporate practice, and allows us to extend a fuller legal services offering to our clients across the region. Charlotte’s appointment will bring the total to 51 at partner level across the Norton Rose Group offices in Asia.  In Asia Pacific, we have more than 800 lawyers, operating from 13 offices, creating a major legal practice across the entire region.
