Placement scheme (for law background)

We operate a formal placement scheme between June and August for penultimate year law students and graduates from a legal academic background. Remuneration is £250 per week.

Scheme dates for the year 2008

Scheme 1 - Monday 23 June - Friday 18 July

Scheme 2 - Monday 21 July - Friday 15 August

During your four weeks you will be allocated to two different departments (two weeks each), where you'll shadow a partner or an associate and take part in group activities. The scheme includes other departmental presentations that outline the work they do. You'll also be invited to social events with our trainees, giving you the opportunity to look at the practice from different perspectives.

When to apply

You should apply between 01 December and 31 January during your penultimate year of undergraduate studies or later. If you are on a four-year degree course and your third year will be spent abroad, we would prefer you to apply in your penultimate year.
