This part of our website has been designed to help you make a successful application to us. Some of the points may seem obvious, but it's always worth double-checking your application before submitting it. The information gathered here will also make clear what we expect from you. And what you can expect from us.

All vacation placement and training contract applications must be made on our online application form.

Some general points:

• Answer every question on the online application. They're all there for a reason. It looks lazy and careless to leave blanks unless they are genuinely not applicable. If a particular question doesn't apply then you should write something to that effect, rather than leaving that part of the form blank.
  
• Concise answers. If you can't fit your answers into the space provided, then it's possible that you're being too long-winded. Try to be succinct. You shouldn't need to include additional information.
  
• Be consistent in your answers. If you apply more than once remember that practices keep a record of your previous applications and any differing responses are soon noted!
  
• Make sure that if you've taken a year out for any reason, you tell us about it somewhere on the application form. If dates don't correlate, the person who screens your application will want to know why!
