The application process has been designed to be as effective and efficient as possible. Our aim is to identify the candidates who will guarantee the future of the practice and who will enjoy a successful and inspiring career with us. In this part of our website, you'll find a wealth of information on what we're looking for in a successful candidate, as well as when and how to apply.

How do I apply?

Applicants should complete our online application form. It's probably best to think of your application form as the first part of your interview. Remember first impressions count and showing us something of your personality is as important as listing your academic achievements. The interview will be based on your application form, so do help to make it an interesting conversation.

When do I apply?

If you're a law student, you should apply at the end of your penultimate year, usually by the end of July on that same year. For those who have not completed a placement, interviews are held in August / September just before the beginning of your final academic year. The pre-interview process is lengthy and so applications received after the deadline cannot be accepted.

If you're a non-law student, you should apply as early as possible in your final year. You can do this before or after you receive your results. Interviews start early in the year and so please apply as soon as possible. This also applies to you if you have already graduated from a law or non-law degree, or are currently working and looking to change career.

Please visit our application timetable for up to date information on application deadlines.
