We have one of the leading shipping employment law teams in the UK. The employment team’s excellence was recognised in 2001 when it was The Lawyer Award’s employment team of the year for its groundbreaking work in the transport sector. In addition, the team has been nominated for the award on a further three occasions.

In addition to Norton Rose’s headquarters in London, our international employment capability comprises over 35 lawyers, including five partners, specialising in employment/labour law issues.

The team acts for many multi-national companies and has experience in all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. Every solicitor undertakes a broad spectrum of work and has regular exposure to client issues ranging from disciplinary and grievance issues to sensitive severance issues and boardroom disputes, through to issues of corporate governance and managing the needs of substantial international workforces.
