Export finance

The landscape of international finance is shifting. As innovative and improved facility structures are developed, tailored and documented to handle the individual requirements of several Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and lender groups, it is important that clients have advisors who are working regularly on multi-source ECA structures.

We have extensive experience in export credit financing and have worked for many years with ECAs, multilaterals and international financial institutions in connection with the financing of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, ships and aircraft and also short-term trade finance transactions.

We maintain very close links with many ECAs and have worked both for and with them on a number of ground-breaking transactions. We also regularly have cross secondments with ECAs and have spoken at the Berne Union (the annual gathering of the ECAs).
