Our global equity capital markets team focuses on delivering expert advice to a number of prominent corporations and financial institutions throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

We are particularly strong in the mid-market and handle all types of ECM transactions, from niche AIM listings in the UK to migrations from AIM to the Main Market and global equity offerings for large multi-nationals across our key industry sectors: financial institutions: energy; infrastructure, mining and commodities; transport; technology and innovation; and pharmaceuticals and life sciences

Our recent work:

  • Advising Starwood Capital (part of global high-end hotel company Starwood) on the proposed £350m IPO of its new European debt fund
  • Advising Aureus Mining Inc., the Toronto listed mining company, in relation to its US$80 million international offering. The offering was made as a public offering in Canada, with institutional placements in the UK and the United States. GMP Securities L.P., RBC Capital Markets and Clarus Securities Inc. acted as Managers
  • Advising on Anglo Platinum Ltds ZAR12 billion (US$1.7 billion) rights offer, the largest to date in South Africa
  • Advising RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity Limited, Mirabaud Securities LLP and J&E Davy in their roles as joint bookrunners on the recent US$60 million fundraising by Kenmare Resources plc. The fundraising was conducted by way of an accelerated book-built placing of new ordinary shares. Kenmare is a FTSE 250 company, with its primary listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and a secondary listing on the Irish Stock Exchange. Kenmare's principal activity is the operation of the Moma mine, located on the north east coast of Mozambique, which contains reserves of titanium minerals
  • Advising HSBC Holdings on its £12.5 billion rights issue, one of the biggest UK rights issues to date
  • Advising Jupiter Fund Management on its IPO and London listing with a market capitalisation of approximately £755 million
