Dr. Alexander von Bergwelt is a corporate lawyer based in Munich. He is the Senior Partner Germany and a member of our global Executive Committee.
Alexander has extensive experience in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and corporate restructurings as well as litigation. He has advised on numerous national and cross-border transactions and restructurings of companies and groups of companies. His clients include major international corporations as well as mid-size German businesses, relating to a diversified range of industries, particularly financial institutions, media and automotive.
Alexander graduated from the University of Munich (MBA; Dipl.-Kfm., 1987; law degree, 1988; Dr. jur., 1991) and is also qualified as a specialist tax lawyer. He is fluent in German, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian.
