The process was developed in close co-operation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology (Fraunhofer IWES) and allows the young technology enterprise to issue site-specific electricity generation forecasts precisely every 15 minutes.
Innogy Venture Capital is a funds management company which specialises in renewable technology. The company’s focus is on investment in young european enterprises which work on CO2 neutral, renewable energy generation and storage solutions. With investments of 115 million euro, the currently administered fund “Innogy Renewables Technology Fund I” is one of Europe’s leading early stage financiers in this area.
