Dr. Rüdiger Litten is a capital markets lawyer based in Frankfurt.
Rüdiger joined the Frankfurt practice as a partner in 2001 and specialises in capital markets, structured finance (including derivative products and securitisations), loan portfolio transactions, restructuring and Islamic finance. His client base includes leading German and international financial institutions and corporates.
Rüdiger studied law in Germany, England and France. He holds a law degree and a doctorate from Hamburg University as well as an LL.M. from Bristol University. Rüdiger was admitted as a Germany attorney at law (Rechtsanwalt) in 1997 and since then has practised law in Frankfurt and London.
The author of a number of publications on capital markets law, Rüdiger is a regular conference speaker and is a lecturer at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Marburg. Rüdiger is a member of the German Bar Association and the Union International Club. He speaks German, English and French.
