February 28, 2012
Norton Rose Canada has launched a new mergers and acquisitions blog—Deal Law Wire.
Deal Law Wire will share insights of Norton Rose Canada’s lawyers on what’s impacting deal-making the most, in Canada and around the world. Norton Rose Canada works with clients on the full range of areas involved in M&A. These include private equity, foreign investment in Canada, antitrust/competition, cross-border transactions, litigation, taxation, employment and intellectual property issues that affect deal-making.
Troy Ungerman, partner and co-chair of Norton Rose Canada’s private mergers and acquisitions team said:
“Deal Law Wire is a new kind of M&A blog from a Canadian law firm. It offers clients a global perspective that comes with being part of Norton Rose Group. Our Canadian lawyers work with an international M&A team and Deal Law Wire will cover our work and the trends and developments shaping M&A today. This will help our clients get the information they want in a timely and efficient manner.”
Norton Rose Canada’s lawyers will contribute their views from the firm’s offices in Calgary, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Québec, Caracas and Bogotá. Comment from Norton Rose Group’s offices in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia will also be included.
Deal Law Wire is the latest social media application Norton Rose Canada uses to help communicate its work and knowledge to its existing and prospective clients. Other social media tools the firm uses include Twitter, LinkedIn, mobile apps for iPhone and BlackBerry and other blogs.
