Arbitration of disputes

Regardless of whether the parties are forced to accept a first collective agreement imposed by an arbitrator or agree to seek the assistance of an arbitrator of their own accord or at the suggestion of a mediator or a conciliator, or that their disputes arise over the interpretation, administration, application or alleged violation of the terms and conditions of employment contained in the collective agreement during its term, arbitration is a complex process which can have major repercussions for the business concerned.  The presentation made to the arbitrator and its preparation are key elements in obtaining a satisfactory result for the employer. We have frequently been called upon to act in such files and have obtained conclusive results. Many of our experienced lawyers are regularly called upon to represent and advise employers in such files.
