Noni is a commercial lawyer based in Canberra.

Noni specialises in environment and climate change law. She advises Government entities and prominent corporations on the environmental and planning aspects of complex commercial projects, including obtaining planning, environmental and infrastructure approvals, advising on the remediation and development of contaminated land, native title and Aboriginal heritage and advising on the sale and associated transaction documents. With Government clients, this work extends to advising on compliance with enabling legislation and probity requirements.

Noni’s significant experience in climate change law includes advising on the Clean Energy Act, the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act, renewable energy credit and mandatory renewable energy target schemes, the Carbon Farming Initiative and other carbon offset and biobanking schemes.

Noni has extensive experience in the waste, water and renewable energy sectors. She was recently named one of Australia’s leading environment lawyers in the Australasian Legal Business Guide for Environmental Law and is a chapter author for LexisNexis Climate Change Law and Policy in Australia.
