Our Brussels-based team of competition and regulatory lawyers plays an increasingly important role as the EU representative office within a global team, which has capability in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia.
We advise prominent international corporations, financial institutions and governments on all aspects of EU competition and regulatory law, as well as general EU law including WTO and trade issues and national competition laws in Austria, France, Germany, Spain, Romania and the UK.
Our expertise is not limited to competition/antitrust laws in the narrow sense. In Europe, the privatisation and liberalisation of state monopolies and public utilities has led to the creation of special regimes and codes amplifying and modifying general competition laws in a number of industries. We regularly provide advice on industry specific regulations not only to companies but also to governments and governmental bodies.
