Ashley Wright is an energy lawyer based in Singapore and he leads the oil and gas team in the Asia Pacific region. He has extensive experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining and minerals and power sectors.
He is highly experienced in the Asian energy markets, particularly Indonesia, and has worked for a wide range of clients including leading Indonesian and international energy corporates, banks, ECAs, NOCs, independent energy companies and oil majors. He is an oil and gas specialist, but has acted on the whole range of other energy projects including geothermal, coal, CBM and LNG.
Ashley has lived and worked in South East Asia for over 14 years and is recognised as a ‘Highly Recommended Individual’ for Energy transactions in Which Lawyer?; as a ‘Leading Individual’ for Projects & Energy (Singapore) in Chambers Asia 2011; and as an ‘Expert’ in Who’s Who Legal (Oil & Gas, 2011).
