Ferzana Haq is a banking lawyer based in Singapore. She specialises in capital markets transactions, Islamic finance and corporate trustee work, under English and Singapore law.
Ferzana advises financial institutions, sovereign,and corporate issuers on a broad range of debt capital markets transactions and Sharia compliant products. Ferzana was a leading lawyer on a number of landmark transactions such as the US$1 billion sukuk issuance by the Republic of Indonesia and the establishment by DP World Limited and the Dubai Holdings Commercial Operations Group of their medium term note programmes.
Ferzana practised as a capital markets lawyer in both London and Dubai prior to working in Singapore. She is qualified in both England and Singapore and graduated with a law degree from Oxford University. Ferzana was voted a leading Islamic Finance lawyer in 2012 by Islamic Finance News.
