Norton Rose advises Toyota Tsusho Corporation on sale of Coal Bed Methane Feed Gas to BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG Project

International legal practice Norton Rose (Asia) LLP in Tokyo has advised Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) on the first long-term sales agreement for Coal Bed Methane (CBM) for a Japanese company.
Under the terms of the sales agreement, TTC will supply CBM from the ATP651P block to a BG Group subsidiary, Walloons Coal Seam Gas Company, for a 20 year period.
The CBM will serve as feed gas for BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG Project.
The Tokyo team was led by partner Michael Joyce, and assisted by associate Rod Chooramun.
